The Food Guy at the Lumber Baron!

It was a cold and snowy evening on March 23rd, when The Food Guy hosted another awesome Tasting at The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens. Despite the apparent blizzard outside, we had a nice little turnout for this evening’s dinner, about 50 people! The Ballroom was decorated beautifully, dinner was delicious as always, and the company was delightful. Vendors were on hand to talk about their specialties and introduce themselves to the families that came, and talk with them about their events.

Preferred Vendors also included: Desiree from The Makery, Wedding Sitters by Charity, Mike & Mike from DJ Guy, Julia from Diz’s Daisies, and Cindy from Blue Sky Travel.

The Food Guy Tasting at Grant-Humphreys Mansion

Cindy & Tom at The Food Guy catering were kind enough to invite us to participate in their annual Bridal tasting, held at the Grant-Humphreys mansion.  I was able to photograph the event – here are some highlights, and to view the entire collection, please visit our online viewing section at http://grayphotography.photoreflect.com

The Food Guy – awesome food without the attitude!

“The Food Guy Catering offers a refreshing approach to catering in the Denver Metro Area. We work with you to identify your unique needs and discover a vision for the event. Then we develop a customized menu that caters to your tastes.

We create menus that range from exotic Mediterranean dishes or sophisticated French cuisine, to finger-lickin’ Barbeque.”

“The Grant-Humphreys Mansion is an elegant setting for your special event.
This Beaux Arts architectural showpiece was built in 1902 for the former Colorado Governor James Benton Grant.  In 1917 the home was purchased by the A. E. Humphreys family.  It is on the National Registry of Historic Places, and located in Denver’s Quality Hill Historic District, just ten minutes from downtown.”

Other vendors included:  The Reverend Michael Woods,  Highlands Wine Seller, Alex Grant, DJ Guy, Bella Fiori, Weddings by Norie, Colorado Party Rentals, and Shutter Booth.
