Hillary and Dan really love each other.  Their celebration at their favorite place turned out to be one heck-of-a party, complete with hula hoops and glow sticks! We love how much personality Hillary & Dan showed us, and that is evident in the photos. Here are a few of our favorites to hold you over till we’re done with the collection….enjoy!

Jen & Chris

We have known Chris for a long time. Working back at the Ogden, we saw him regularly as he would frequent for shows and to play his own – he was the front man for Blister 66, and was always quite festive. He met Jen a handful of years back and they got married on Valentine’s Day. The following summer, they had a big ceremony and reception, held at the Botanic Gardens. Of course, they asked us to photograph it, and imagine how heavy our hearts were to tell them we were already booked.

Fast-forward to this past January. We photographed Jen (aka Lola Black) at the Johnny Girl shoot at the Hotel Monaco.  Chris tagged along and we got to talking about their wedding, and kids – you know, just general catching up. I about fell over when they told me (Jewels) that they ended up with NO wedding photos!! I was devastated for them! Even bad photos of your wedding day are better than none at all! I insisted that they let us do a Bridal Portrait session of them, in their style, with our style. It was a no-brainer as far as I was concerned.  They of course said yes, and we planned it for summertime.

We were able to make the shoot happen a couple of weeks ago. These two are Rock-n-Roll all the way, and these photos show it!

Shauna + Ben

Like many of our clients, Shauna and Ben were one of those couples that we just clicked with right away. The more and more we got talking, the more we couldn’t wait until their wedding day! The Villa Parker is such a beautiful place to have your wedding – from a photographers stand point, it’s gorgeous. Lots of great places to take photos, and the lighting was impeccable. A June wedding at the Villa Parker on the most perfect of evenings…we hope you love these photos as much as we do!

These two were so fun and sweet – we love clients like them! It was absolutely gorgeous up there at Mt. Vernon Country Club that day. Laurie looked amazing and you could tell they were on cloud nine…I’m feelin’ the black and whites with this collection.  Congratulations to Laurie, Josh, and the boys!

Ana + Andrew’s Engagements

To celebrate Ana & Andrew’s Engagement, we met up with them at the Wazee Supper Club in Lodo (a favorite spot of ours) to talk about their ideas over a beer. Their personalities shined for us since the first meeting and we were looking forward to getting them in front of the camera! We spent a casual afternoon walking around 15th Street. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot, and the lighting was absolutely gorgeous that day! We can’t wait for the wedding…

Lexi + Jon

Awww – Lexi & Jon – what a sweet couple! We met at the Grant-Humphreys’ Quality Hill Bridal show last January and it was love at first sight They really wanted us to photograph their wedding and we were so happy they hired us to do so. All the little touches they added into their day (like the Chuck Taylor’s the Bride wore down the aisle) really made it special for them.
